General Details

Anaemia is a result of iron and caloric deficiency due to excessive bleeding, malnutrition and long time illness, after major surgery, menororrhagia, Chronic haemorrhage like piles, Hookworm infestation, Hematemasis or Hemoptyses, liver toxicity etc.

Due to depletion in blood hemoglobin oxygen supply to various body organs becomes impaired. As a result person becomes weak, suffers from bodyache, muscular pain, giddiness, lethargy. becomes unable to perform normal physical and mental functions. lron 21 Syrup is an energising tonic, containing appetisers, digestives, Haematinics, It ensures better iron utilisation and formation of blood. It is a combination of restorative Ayurvedic drugs which provide Iron and Calorie nutrition to compensate loss of hemoglobin, It relieves all associated symptoms of anemia.

Actions and Uses:

Sounth (Zingiber officinale), Kalimirch (Piper nigrum) Pippli (Piper longum) The combination of three act as a digestive and relieves dyspepsia and acid peptic ulcers.

Hirda (Terminalia chebula), Behda (Terminalia bellerica), Amla (Emblica officialis) the combination of these three rasayana drugs which is known as ‘Triphala’ is very useful in general debility and wasting diseases. Relieves constipation, stimulates appetite, and tones up metabolism.

Ajowan (Trachyspermum ammi) Antispetic, stomachic, carminative, stimulant and tonic. Useful in diarrhoea, atonic dyspepsia, colic, flatulence and indigestion; it improves general functioning of digestive system.

Vaividang (Embelia ribes) Alternative and tonic.

Nagarmotha (Cyperus rotundus) Useful in chronic diarrhoea and indigestion; improves functioning of digestive system.

Chitrakmool (Plumbago indica) Relieves body-ache.

Shankhapushpi (Evolvulus alsinoldes) General brain tonic, improves improves memmory and concentration.

Bramhi (Bacopa monnieri) Used as a brain tonic to improve memory and other functions of nervous system.

Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) Brain tonic, improves general functioning of brain.

Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) General tonic, reduces weakness and debility.

Gokhru (Tributus terrestris) Cooling, diuretic, tonic and aphrodisiac, useful in general debility.

Bala (Sida cordifolia)- Very useful in post-partum weakness.

Mulethi (Glycirrhiza glabra) Tones up metabolism and liver function, useful in acid-peptic diseases.

Bhangra (Eclipta alba) Tonic and emetic. Improves liver functioning and general metabolism.

Arjun (Terminalia arjuna) Cardiac tonic, relieves fatigue and debility observed in angina.

Indications:

General weakness and fatigue, Loss of appetite, During & after Pregnancy and lactation.

Post partum weakness. After malaria and Major Surgical Operations. Chronic debilitating diseases and convalescence.

To maintain haemoglobin level in old age.

Dosage:

Adult         : – 2 teaspoonful thrice daily after meals.

Children    : – 1 teaspoonful twice daily after  meals.
